ヨーロッパ華僑商会 European Chamber of Commerce Taipei (ECCT)
TAIPEI101と、台湾で最も影響力を持つ海外商業団体であるヨーロッパ華僑商会が、35階空中交換フロアにてhappy Hourアクティビティを開催。ヨーロッパ華僑商会の紀緯德執行長も当日出席し、場を盛り上げました。 TAIPEI 101 and ECCT, one of the most influential foreign business organizations in Taiwan, jointly organized the Happy Hour event at the transition lobby on Level 35. ECCT Chief Executive Officer Guy Wittich took part in the event.
 
階段登り競争 Run Up
昨年11月20日、TAIPEI 101において「2005 TAIPEI 101国際階段登り競争」が開催されました。これは世界一のノッポビルが開催する初の階段登り競争です。選手は1階からスタートし、91階までの総計2046段、高さにして390mを登ります。当日は金溥聰・葉金川台北副市長らが参加したほか、多くの国内外の階段登りの達人たちが競い合い、この大会を一層活気あるものにしました。TAIPEI 101は国民運動の気運を高めるため、今大会の参加費から個人保険を差し引いた後、全額を「2008オリンピックで金メダル7つ達成」の発展基金として、中華オリンピック協会に寄付しました。このような小さなことから、TAIPEI 101は国民に2008年オリンピックに出場する選手たちにエールを送るよう呼びかけています。 On November 20, 2005, TAIPEI 101 organized the TAIPEI 101 Run Up, the first stair climbing competition held in the world’s tallest building. The competition involved 2,046 steps from level 1 to 91, which is 390 meters off the ground. Taipei Deputy Mayor Pu-tsung King and Chin-chung Yeh in addition to many world-class stair-climbing players participated in the contest. To encourage Taiwan residents to exercise, TAIPEI 101 donated the registration fee less the insurance premium to the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee as a development fund for 7 gold medals for the Summer Olympics 2008. TAIPEI 101 also urged the public to cheer for contestants of the Summer Olympics 2008!
 
五月天（メイデイ）コンサート Mayday Concert
2005年11月11日、TAIPEI 101の91階で五月天（メイデイ）の「頭頂天空昇コンサート」が開かれました。世界一高いTAIPEI 101は、彼らが台湾ミュージック界に貢献してきたと考え、91階展望台を会場として提供しました。地上390.6ｍでの「今までで一番天空に近い」コンサートには、選ばれた500人の幸運なファンたちがつめかけ、この初の演出に参加しました。コンサートは熱狂に包まれ、五月天（メイデイ）のメンバーや関係者たちもこのコンサートを非常に誇りに思い、感動を覚えました。 On November 11, 2005, the pop band Mayday organized a concert on level 91 of TAIPEI 101. Recognizing Mayday’s contribution to Taiwan music, TAIPEI 101 opened its outdoor observation deck to 500 lucky Mayday fans that would be at the concert. Being 390.6 meters off ground, fans feel all the closer to heaven. These fans overwhelmed Mayday members and concert workers with cheers and support.
 
2005年　TAIPEI 101きらめきクリスマスパーティー STYLE AFTER WORK Christmas Party 2005
TAIPEI 101は、1階大フロアにおいて「STYLE AFTER WORK」クリスマスパーティーを開催し、新境地を切り開きました。このパーティーにはTAIPEI 101内の入居者に限らず、全ての101ファミリーメンバーたちも参加することができ、サプライズクリスマスとなりました。TIPEI 101の陳敏薰董事長と林鴻明総経理が世界最高の室内クリスマスツリーに明かりを灯しました。パーティーでは溢れんばかりのグルメや、TAIPEI 101をかたどった大型のジンジャークッキーが並び、また神秘失控人声楽団（セミスコン）を迎え、参加者たちは見てよし、食べてよし、聴いてよしのクリスマスパーティーを大いに楽しみました。 TAIPEI 101 held the STYLE AFTER WORK Christmas Party at the ground floor lobby. Open to TAIPEI 101 tenants only, the party was a Christmas surprise for the members of their extended family. TAIPEI 101 Chairperson Diana Chen and President Harace Lin lit the world’s tallest indoor Christmas tree at the event, which featured fine food and wine and a gingerbread house resembling TAIPEI 101. With the vocal group Semiscon’s performance, participants enjoyed the sounds, visuals and tastes of Christmas.
 
年越し花火フェスティバル Year-end Countdown Fireworks
2005年に別れを告げ、2006年を迎えよう！TAIPEI 101は新年の訪れと同時に花火を打ち上げました。今年の花火は128秒に延長され、カウントダウンの後、建物の8階間隔から5色の花束をかたどった花火が打ち上げられました。開花は富貴を象徴しており、一発目の花火の打ち上げ後、次々と花束をかたどった花火が各階から打ち上げられました。その様子はさながら筆で空に花火を描いているようで、見る人々を驚嘆させました。ビルの最上部からは金色に輝く閃光花火が打ち上げられ、その後コンピュータ制御により絶妙なタイミングで地上から8101発の花火が、また下層から上層へ次々と大きな銀色の花束の花火が打ち上げられ、さながら一匹の巨大な龍がTAIPEI 101の上空を高速で走り抜けていくかのようでした。こうして天を飛ぶ龍の色のあでやかな花火で新年を迎えました。 It’s time to say goodbye to 2005 and embrace 2006! TAIPEI 101 extended the year-end countdown fireworks to 128 seconds this year. After the countdown, colorful fireworks were launched from the outdoor section every 8th floor to symbolize prosperity. Then flower clusters were shot into the sky, painting the sky with brilliant light. They were then followed by golden flashes released from the pinnacle. The display finished with computer-controlled silver shots that started from the bottom of the building and ended at the top, as if an awakened dragon had wrapped itself around TAIPEI 101 for the New Year.
 
TAIPEI101　2006初日の出 Dawning of 2006
TAIPEI 101は今年「TAIPEI101 2006　初日の出」イベントを実施しました。元旦早朝4時30分からビルを開放し、1010名の国内外の観光客が世界最高のフロアで2006年の初日の出を迎えました。また新年の願いを書き表した後、設置された祈願樹につけ、一年の幸福を願いました。 To welcome the dawning of 2006, TAIPEI 101’s observation deck opens its doors to the public at 4:30 AM, January 1, 2006. With this opportunity, 1,010 local and foreign visitors chose to greet the first glimpse of 2006 at the world’s tallest building. They also wrote and hung their New Year Resolutions on the blessing tree onsite for good luck in the coming year.
