I think that TAIPEI 101 is a very tough race:
-due to the fact that everybody runs alone, you don`t know anything while you are running. You don`t know, whether you are fast or slow, whether you are first or 99th -the staircase is very wide, so you can not use your arms to pull you up (as you ca do at the Empire state building) -there is no flat part at all, so definitely no time to recover during the race -the stairs themselves are very high, at least 20% higher than at the Empire state building -and of course it is the highest building, what means that it is the longest stair-race in the world (I hope that there will never be a race up this new skyscraper in Dubai...)

Running in TAIPEI 101 Tower is a unique and fascinating experience that challenges the athlete both physically and mentally because, although the race is quick, it’s very intense and makes it seems an exhausting effort: it is a challenge against yourself
In life I working as a clerk in a store building and moreover I work with my father in the honey production. Every day I cropping space for training for running races in the mountains and in view of these climbs on skyscrapers. When I’m not away from home and I have free time I like to dedicate to reading and friends.

"Running on a skyscraper in a City, for me means running on a mountain. Mountain running is my life, and discovering new places it gives me new strong feelings to going on with this sport. Taipei is a fantastic city, and the TAIPEI 101 is its mountain its symbol. This year will be my fourth time here. Taipei in the past gave me many satisfactions, but above all, is the best way to run for Paul Crake, a great friend and is the record holder of this race. He had a terrible cicling accident, and now his life is on a weelchair. Every time I run here, he's like he's running with me."

'The TAIPEI 101 race is a unique race of endurance up a special building, the building resembles a growing bamboo which is a symbol of every lasting strength and resilience, the qualities needed to make it to the top of TAIPEI 101 - I always enjoy the challenge of this well organised event'

It's just a few weeks to the biggest Run Up worldwide. Thousands of people every year challenge that building. And i have had the chance to do this race 5 times. So I'm feeling so thankfull to race that impresiv Building again. And maybe get another victory. That would be a big honor for me.
So to show the best performance in the race i will train as hard as possible. And maybe i break my record time of 10:53 Minutes. So see you on 30th May at the TAIPEI 101 Run Up.
