TAIPEI 101 Environmental Education Journey
The One and Only High-Altitude Environmental Education Program in Taiwan

TAIPEI 101 is dedicated to environmental advocacy, positioning “environmental education” as a core mission. The program encourages students and the general public to view and learn about Taipei from above through TAIPEI 101's unique environmental education courses. Participants also gain first-hand insight into the building's connection to green tourism through innovative technology and sustainable management.

Adult Environmental Education Journey – 101 City in the Sky

TAIPEI 101, the world's tallest building from 2004 to 2010, was the first supertall skyscraper to exceed 500 meters, boldly overcoming the challenges of typhoons and earthquakes. Recognized as one of the “50 Most Influential Tall Buildings in the World,” it exemplifies innovation in both architecture and sustainability. This course explores the green strategies planned since its inception and unveils the building's many hidden sustainable features.

Environmental Education Journey for School Children – 101 Sky Classroom (Designed for 4th–5th Grade Elementary Students)

Students will explore the architectural features of TAIPEI 101 and the high-altitude urban landscape, observing their environment from 380 meters above ground. The course introduces the formation of the Taipei Basin, urban development, and the impact of human activities on nature. It also highlights TAIPEI 101's sustainability efforts, inspiring young learners to care for the Earth through action.
